We don't track you. Receipts are encrypted in transit and at rest. We don't sell personal information or use tracking cookies.
Automatic extraction
OCR reads merchant, date, totals, taxes, tenders, and line items. Matching can be wrong—check the original image for tax or chargebacks.

See receipts you added and the fields we extracted.
Community prices (coming)
When community prices launch, they stay off unless you turn them on. Data you choose to share is de-identified: item, price, merchant, coarse region (for example "Atlanta area", never a ZIP), and date. It isn't linked to your account, email, or name.
Future connections
Email forwarding for receipts and invoices is coming. We're exploring bank and card feeds and connections to supported store accounts. Any connection will be optional and off until you turn it on.

Sign in with email (Firebase Auth). An Android capture app is in private testing. There is no App Store or Play listing yet.
Your transactions, matched to your receipts
Today, ReceiptBay keeps the receipts you add. Next, we're working on bringing your card and bank transactions into the same place, so each purchase sits next to its itemized receipt when one is available.

Forward email receipts
Would forward a receipt email to your ReceiptBay address and add it to your inbox with its line items.
Match transactions to receipts
Would match your transactions to itemized receipts when a receipt is available.

Bring in itemized receipts from email, order-history files, and supported store accounts.
Accounting export
CSV first, then QuickBooks Online and Xero, with each receipt attached to the matching transaction.
Roadmap items aren't available yet and may change. Any new connection will be optional and off until you turn it on.

We don't track you
No third-party tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, no session replay. Umami is the only analytics we run on our own pages (cookieless pageview counts on production only).
We don't sell personal information
We don't sell personal information. When community prices launch, they stay off unless you turn them on. If you share, businesses may receive de-identified price statistics and must agree not to try to identify anyone. Shared data isn't linked to your account, email, or name.

How ReceiptBay is different
Four things, stated plainly.
Line items included, free
We read the individual items on a receipt — quantity, unit price, amount — not just the total. That is free while we are in early access.
No tracking cookies
No third-party tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, no session replay. That is why there is no cookie banner here: there is nothing to consent to.
Processed in the United States
Receipt images and the data we read from them are processed in the United States. ReceiptBay is a U.S. product and is not a bank.
Your household, not an expense report
ReceiptBay is built for people keeping their own receipts and purchase history. Small businesses can use the same free inbox — but this is not corporate expense software.
No customer numbers, no star ratings, no logos — we would rather show you what the product does than borrow credibility from someone else's quote.

Is ReceiptBay free?
Yes, while we are in early access. Creating an account does not require a credit card, and there is no subscription today. If we ever introduce paid plans, we will post the prices and a refund policy here before charging anyone.
What do you read from a receipt?
The merchant, date, totals, taxes, tenders, and the individual line items. OCR can misread faded print, creases, or unusual layouts, so the original image is kept with the receipt and you can check anything that looks wrong against the paper.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't sell personal information. Community prices are optional and not launched yet; when they launch they stay off unless you turn them on, and anything you choose to share is de-identified and not linked to your account, email, or name.
Is there a mobile app?
Not publicly. An Android capture app is in private testing, and there is no App Store or Play listing yet. Today you add receipts on the web dashboard.
Can I connect my bank or card?
Not yet. We are exploring bank and card feeds and connections to supported store accounts, and email forwarding is coming first. Any connection will be optional and off until you turn it on, and we won't name a store as available until its connection is tested and approved. See the roadmap.
Is this for personal receipts or business expenses?
Both, and the same inbox serves either. ReceiptBay is built for households keeping their own receipts and purchase history, and small businesses use the same free inbox for business receipts. Paid bookkeeping tools, such as accounting export and missing-receipt reports, are being explored rather than built.
How do I add a receipt?
Photograph it or upload an image or PDF from the web dashboard, and we read the fields into your inbox. Email forwarding is coming. We do not silently capture every purchase — you add the receipts you want to keep.

Who else uses ReceiptBay, and what they can't see
Small businesses can use the same inbox for their receipts. When community prices launch, retailers and apps may request de-identified price statistics from people who turn sharing on. None of them can see your account or your receipts.
